In terms of their success as effective marketing tools, the composition of email messages is more important than ever. With the mountain of email that’s launched into cyberspace these days, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for marketers to get their messages delivered, opened and read by prospects and customers. The success and effectiveness of email marketing campaigns, whether large or small, essentially comes down to one factor: the message. If the message is not properly developed, nothing else matters.

Woman Looking at WatchOne of the greatest challenges many people face in business and in their personal lives is that there never seems to be enough time to accomplish everything they need to do, let alone finding time for things they want to do! They look with envy at those who are able to successfully fit work, family, personal, and other activities into their lives. The reality is that we all have the same 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year – it’s how we choose to spend that time that makes all the difference.

One of the most common goals my clients tell me about is that they want more time.

If you can relate, I have good news for you – if you put just one of these tips into practice, you will save hours every week:

1. Learn to say no
Saying no helps you set strong boundaries.

What do you have to say no to so that you can say yes to your goals this year?

2. Play to your strengths
With everything in life, I believe you should play to your strengths.

If you’re terrible at cleaning your house, hire a cleaning lady. If you’re not great at organising, hire a professional organiser.

Writing articles is a great way to market your online business, because it puts you in the position of being able to establish yourself as an expert in your field. The challenge, of course, is that not everyone feels comfortable with the idea of sitting down and writing articles. That’s where article ghostwriters come into play.

Ghost writing is a well-established tradition in which non-writers, such as yourself, can hire someone else who will do the actual article writing, while you are able to take the personal credit as the author of the article. That’s right: with ghost writing, you pay someone else not only for writing articles, but also for all rights to those articles. As a result, you are able to make any necessary changes and to publish the article with your own bylines and contact information, attached to the article.

Filed under Law of Attraction, goal setting

Just over a year ago, I participated in a business coaching program where we were asked to set BHAGs - Big Hairy Audacious Goals. Looking back now, I can see that moment was a significant turning point for me. Up until that point, I had been playing it safe. My goals up until then weren’t Big, Hairy and Audacious.

They were Small, Bald and downright Timid. I had been playing it safe. I wasn’t committing to a bigger vision because that way I could avoid disappointment if it didn’t work out. I had been censoring my goals and aiming for what I thought I could achieve as opposed to what I truly wanted.

How many times have you told yourself that you really should get organized? You may have promised yourself that you’ll do it and you’ve even set aside whole weekends to finally get the job done. Somehow, the weekends come and go, and it still isn’t done.

You know it is going to take a lot of time and effort, so the question is: “Why bother?”

Getting organized is a very personal thing. Just like there is no one system that will work for everyone there is no universal reason to be organized. However, it is necessary to figure out why it is important to YOU. Figuring this out can serve as the push you need to start you going and keep you motivated.

All links are not created equal. There are worthless, good and great links. So, what is the difference between each one? I can sum it up in one word, “clicks”.

The most worthless links are those that appear on pages that will never be read by a set of human eyes.

Internet or e-mail fax services are becoming very popular with the computer savvy public. The ability to receive and send faxes whenever and wherever you access you e-mail has proven too irresistible for many fax users to ignore.

It’s an offer they couldn’t refuse. Can you blame them?

No more paper-jams, no more bulky fax machines, no more messy inks, no more busy signals, no more extra phone lines, no more return trips to the office at 10 o’clock at night to retrieve that important fax.

Did you ever wonder why they don’t make a really good container for hair ribbons and barrettes?

There is really nothing that you can use to hang a scrunches’ on and make it look nice and be able to get it off without stretching it all out of shape.

“Out of clutter, find Simplicity.
From discord, find Harmony.
In the middle of difficulty lies Opportunity.”
– Albert Einstein

Many who come to me for help feel their lives (or some parts of them) are difficult, cluttered, and discordant. Worse, they feel guilty because they can’t “balance” all the parts of their lives.

Don’t feel bad. You can balance a clock, car wheels, and sometimes a seesaw, but it’s hard to balance a life. And if you could, would you really want to?
